ROLL CALL Council members present: Dalla, Inzunza, Van Deventer, Zarate, Waters. Administrative officials present: Bolint, Caloza, Eiser, McCabe, Peoples, Williams. SEWER CAPACITY/FEES ADMIN 1. SUBJECT: F.Y. 1993 Sewer Rate Workshop. TESTIMONY: Public Works Director Williams made a viewgraph presentation (copy on file in the Office of the City Clerk), the purpose of which was: A. To look at prior year back -billing. B. To discuss the Navy's billing. C. To look at future of Special Act District (SAD), i.e., Metro II. D. To look at future costs. F. To evaluate use of proceeds from sale of capacity to offset higher rates. Councilman Inzunza left the conference room at 4:30 p.m Councilman Inzunza returned to the conference room at 4:31 p.m. Councilman Inzunza left the conference room at 4:39 p.m. Councilman Inzunza returned to the conference room at 4:40 p.m. Mayor Waters left the conference room at 5:40 p.m. Mayor Waters returned to the conference room at 5:44 p.m. Book 74/Page 166 07/07/92 SEWER CAPACITY/FEES ADMIN (continued) TESTIMONY: City Attorney Eiser recommended that prior to any Council vote on a utility rate increase, the Fair Political Practices Commission be checked with regarding any possible conflict of interest. ACTION: Motion by Waters, seconded by Dalla, to have the City Attorney check with the Fair Political Practices Commission and report back to Council. Carried by unanimous vote. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Van Deventer, seconded by Zarate, the meeting be adjourned to the next Regular City Council Meeting - July 14. 1992 - 7:00 p.m. - Council Chambers. Civic Center.
