Council Member Parra thanked the applicants and said he was
comfortable with an appointment to fill the vacancy.
Council Member Zarate said she was impressed with all of the applicants
but has an issue with appointing someone from the School Board because
she feels it is important for them to complete their elected term.
Mayor Morrison assured everyone that there has been no prior discussion

Mayor said he favors an appointment rather than an election and thanked
