Dated this 4 k s 29 n d: e 1961. } 6;28 509 National city, California, June 30, 1961 Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order at 12145 P.M. o'clock, for the purpose of discussion, revision, and action on the final map of Sweetwater Heights Subdivision. Councilmen presents Allen, Hollingsworth, Reid, Hart. Councilmen absents Morgan. AIMINISTRATIVE OFFICIALS presents Alston, Curran, Osburn, Stookman. The meeting was opened with pledge of allegiance to the Flag by Acting Manager Coburn. followed with invocation by Councilman Allen, CITY CLERK AISTON reported she has the Tentative Map, plans and estimate of costs of the installation for improvements. ATTORNEY CURRAN stated there has been submitted Bond No. N 357505 of The Home Indemnity Company showing Clarence $, Morris, Ino. and The Home Indemnity Company are firmly bound unto the City of National City in the sum of $298.,813.00 for faithful performance of the con- tract to construct improvements in the Sweetwater Heights Subdivision. The contract which had previously been executed in this matter, upon examination by the City Attorney was found to be defective inasmuch as the real property was not properly described. Mr. Boyer has fur- nished a copy of the legal description which can be attached to the contract, and the contract can than be approved by the City Attorney as to form and legality. The contractor has furnished evidence sat- isfactory to the City Attorney that arrangements have been made for the installation of water facilities in the proposed subdivision. The map was evvmined, one of the certificates thereon was found to be insufficient, but the defect has been cured and the certificate amended. Attorney Curran stated it was his understanding the papers which are to be filed with the City Clerk have been filed, and if that is the case, the matter is now in a position to be acted upon by the adoption of a resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 7953 was read, accepting the final map of Sweetwater Heights Subdivision. Moved by Allen, seconded by Reid, the Resolu- tion be adopted. Carried, by the following vote to -wits Ayes* Allen, Hollingsworth, Reid, Hart. Nays: None. Absent: Morgan. Moved by Hollingsworth, seconded by Reid, the meeting be adjourned.
