Adjourned meeting of August 14, 1951 was called to order by
Mayor Maurice. Carrigan at 6:,o P.M. olclock. Councilmen pres'r
Clarke, Curry, Hart, Ingalls, Carrigan. Councilmen absent:
None.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIALS present: Alston, Wagner, Campbell,
Grey,
MOVED by Clarke, seconded by Ingalls, that the Budget for the
Fiscal Year 1951-52 be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye,
ORDINANCE NO. , an ordinance determining amount of
revenue necessary from property taxes for sunnort of departmen*
and to nay bonded indebtedness in the City of National City,
was presented for the first.reeding and read in full. Moved
by Clarke, seconded by Hart, that the Ordinance be laid over
until the next meeting for the second and finol reading.
Carried, by the following vote to -wit: Ayes: Clarke, Curry,
Hart, Ingalls, Carrigan. Nays: None,
R SOLUTION NO. 5528, was read. UHEREAS, the City Council of
the City of National City, California, finds that this communi'
should nernetuate the memory of the KIMBALL family, who were
the founders of this community and who contributed largely
toward the early development of this City; and TIBIAS, the
City Council finds that this purpose can be served best by
naming that certain park, situated in National City and betwe=r,
National and "D" Avenues, in honor of the KIMRALL family; NOW,
THT"'EFORE, PE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of National City
California That that certain city nark between National and
"Ds Avenues in the City of National City be and the same shall

known henceforth as, °i:Iil?ALL to-X"; and That the Mayor of
the City of National City be, and he is hereby directed to pro-
claim officially said nark as "KIMBALL PAPJC". Moved by Clarke,
seconded by Ingalls, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
by the follouing vote to -wit: Ayes: Clarke, Curry, Hart,
Ingalls, Carrigan, Nays: None.
MOVED by Ingalls, seconded by Hart, that the Council go on
record as commending Councilman Clarke for his good work in
promoting this particular memorial. Carried, all Councilmen
present voting aye,
Moved bar Hart, seconded by Ingalls, that the meeting be closed.
Carried, all Councilmen ores°nt voting aye.
