Councilmen present: Christman, Cotdingly, Fritz, Newberry, Thatcher. Councilmen absent: none. Department heads and employees present: Smith, Burch, Finnerty, Gautereaux, Bird, Kanpp, Diffenbaugh, Mosley and Noble. Moved by Newberry, seconded by Christman, that theminutes be disposed with. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Council- men absent: none. Petition for taxsale on lot 25 of block B of ParadenapPark by Phil Scheuerman with the bid of $ 37.89, submitted. Moved by Fritz, `t✓� seconded by Newberry, that RESOLUTION N0. 2440 be adopted, authorizini the tax sale and accepting $ 37.89 as the minimum bid. Carried, a 11 Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none. "Communication from J.B.McLees, County Clerk enclosing a certifiei copy of a resolution adopted by the County Board of Supervisors le relative to the cooperative agreement between the County of San Diego 4V -nd the City of National City for the maintenance of certain streets and avenues in National City. Moved by Christman, seconded by Cording% that RESOLUTION NO. 2441 be adopted, accepting the terms and conditioi of the cooperative agreement. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none. /City Attorney Burch reported t hat the United States Government d"� wants an option for the tax interest of the City and County "'a on certain land for the housing project sotth of 24th Street, and offers $ 2,450 for ammo. City Attorney recommended acceptance of the ' offer. Moved by Christman, seconded by Newberry, THAT RESOLUTION NO. 2442 be adopted, authorizing the Mayor to executeethe license and option. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none. B.J.Gtutereaux, Park Sup't, asked that a resolution be adopted,' e4 authorizing the Mayor to sign an application under the Lanham Act for federal funds to run the Federal Community Buildings recreational program. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Newberry, that RESOLUTION NO. 2443 be adopted, authorizing the Mayor to sign the application. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none. 445 Being no-further-businese, it was moved by Newberry,- seconded by Fritz, that the meeting a djourn.-Carried; all Councilmen present voting aye. Councilmen absent: none.
