Moved by Christman, seconded by Fritz, that RESOLUTION NO. 2512 be adopted, accepting the grant deed of the Masonic Temple Assn and approving the warrant of $ 500 in payment of same. 'City Attorney Ratelle advised that under the Health and Safety Code of theState of California, the City Council has the right to construct, maintain and repair the sewer lines by the formation of a sewer district. City Attorney Ratelle het in the matter of civilian defense, the city should not permanently improve any property not of general benefit to the city as a whole and therefore he recommends against the city installing the sewer line to the property of Mr. Al Graf which is to be used for an air raid wardens post.
