0 113065- 66 and 67 in payment of the pro-rata share of County tax sales
re on County Sales No. 1703, 1830-1 and 1830-2. Moved by Fritz,seconded by
Warner, that RESOLUTION N0. 2326 be adopted, authorizing the proper
authprities to accept these checks and to make the proper entries upon
the records. Carried, al Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call.

District regarding a certificate from the City Attorney regarding the

ry31:\ National City, read. Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the
Resolution be adopted. Carriedk all Councilmen present voting aye on
roll -call. Councilmen absent: none.
(Request of the Selective Service 4pard No. 165 for the services of
Helen Lamb and Bette DeHaven for assistance in the Third Registration,
also the use of the typewriters, read. Moved by Newberry, seconded by
Warner, that theri request be granted. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye. Councilmen absent: none.
Communications from the Selective Service Board No. 165 regarding
the reclassification of A.L.Oyer, Leland Bacon and Arthur Hokenson, read.
Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that deferment be asked for these
men. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Councilmeh absent: none.
✓Discussion of new supplies for the Civilian Defense Coummil. Moved
by Newberry, seconded by Warner, that the purchase of new arm bands and
some magnesium be huthhbized. Carrid4, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Councilmen a bsent: none.
councilmen Cordingly reported that three loads of sand had been
dumped on the road into Mr. Stahls trktl3r court.
Being no further business, it was moved by Cordingly, seconded by
Newberry, that the meeting adjourn. Carried, all Councilmen present voti
aye. Councilmen absent: none.
