'eCommunication from Leslie Knapp, Chief of Police recommending the appointment as a sergeant of Police Chauncy Noble, who has been serving for the past year as an acting Sergeant, this appointment will increase the salary of Mr. Noble $5.00 per month. Leslie Knapp also in same communication recommended the appointment of Clarence Roffman as a probationary patrolman at a salary of $125.00 per month beginning March 15, 1942.
