A regular meeting of the City Council called to order by the
Mayor. Councilmen present: Cordingly, Fritz, Kilcrease, Warner and
Thatcher.
Administrative officials Ir esent•Smith, Johnson, Ireland,
Campbell, J. Bird, Denaven, Finnerty, Webb and Knapp.
Minutes of the regular meeting of September 16,1941 , the
adjourned meeting of September 20, 1941 and the special meeting of
September 22, 1941, read and approved.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that the following
bills, approved by the Finance Committee, be accepted and warrants
drawn for same. Carriedk, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -
call. Councilmen absent: none.

'Application to purchase certain tax deeded real property in
the City of National City filed by Tax Collector Asa R. Webb. Moved
by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that RESOLUTION NO. 2279 be
adopted, authorizing the sale on Lot 229 of Lincoln Acres Annex and
Lot 3, Block 214, City Plat. Carried, all Councilmen present voting,
aye on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none.
v/Moved by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, that RESOLUTION NO.
0 2280 be adopted, accepting county check no. 57829 in the amount of
$ 78.47 being proceeds from county tax sale 1595. Carried, all Council-
men present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen absent: none.
Ordinance No. U3 presented for final reading. City Clerk
bead the ordinance. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Warner, that ORDINANCE
NO. 683 be adopted, entitled ' An ordinance amending ordinance no. 508
of the City of National City, California, entitled ' an ordinance
regularing travel and traffic upon the public streets in the City of
Nati nal City, California, and the amendments thereto", by adding
thereto a new section denominated 23A providing for regulation of
traffic at school crossings'. Carried, all Councilmen present voting
aye on roll -call. Councilmen

Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that RESOLUTION NO.
2281 be adopted, relieving the United States Government of any
liability that might arise from the filling of Disposal Area E of our
tidelands With disposd1,obtained from the additional dredging of area
N. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen
absent: none.
City Attorney Johnson submitted the agreement with Koebig and
Koebig f or the preliminary detailed estimates for the proposed sewer.
City Clerk instructed to forward to Koebig the signed agreements.
