Y Report of the Traffic Commission on the petition to make Palm Avenue from Ath Street to 18th Street a 25 mile sone, also placing stop signs at l8th st and Palm avenue, recommending that the petition be denied as the Motor Vehicle Code. of the State of California prescribed standards required for 25 mile zone- no jurisdiction by the City. Also recommending that the stop sign be placed on DiviAion at calm Avenue. Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the report be accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Councilmen absent: none. 4/City Engineer Ireland reported that the PTA recommends, backed by the State 3oard of Health, that the City enter into an agreement allowing the City of National City to use the San Diego Disposal plant for sewage. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Cordingly, that the City Engineer and the City Attorney he instructed to contact the City Attorney of San Diego to work out an agree1 nt.
