Councilman Thatcher absent: I.J.Cundiff representing a group of citizens presented a complaint that the dog ordinance is not being enforced, and requested that the City Council take action. Chief of Police Knapp reported complaints that no more/than usual are being received and that;heewould put a man in their neighborhood to help remedy the situation. Mr. Pearson petitioned for the improvement of 18th street from Palm to East City Limits. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilerease, that the matter be referred to the City Engineer. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Councilman Thatcher absent. / Moved by Kilerease, Seconded by Warner, that RESOLUTION NO. 2023 protesting sale No. 1075 by the County ofSan Diego, be adopted. Carries all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen Thatcher absent. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that RESOLUTION NO. 2024, putting the street department men on a monthly leeis;sbe adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that RESOLUTION NO. 2425, promoting certain officers in the Police department to the rank of:sergpantand appointing Franklin Reed, Special Police Officer, to servof: without compensation, 4beradopbed.LICarried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilman Thatcher absent. 123 Application to purchase certain tax deeded properties and requests St an auction be held referred back to the City Treasurer and City Clerk for search. i Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the following transfer of funds be authorized: from the Sp. Gas Tax St Imp Fund to the General Fund: ' Project # 12- June 16th to Ju.y 16th- Laborrl 0 225.00 Project # 11- June 16th to July 16th- Labor 325.00 rental 362.50 $ 1,160.oc from the General Fund to the Library Fund 300.0C Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Councilman Thatcher absent. /Mr. Arnold Cayser, C.B. present and offered his assistance in the surveying and planning for a Master plan of Harbor lands. City Council thanked Mr. Cayser and took his offer under consideration. Being no further business, it was moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that the meeting adjourn.
