Regular meeting of the Roard of Trustees called to order by the President. Trustees present,— Cordingly, Snook, Crandall and Hertel. Weisser absent. Minutes of regular meeting of July 15th and adjourned meetings of July 17th and 18th, 1919 read and approved. The following bills audited by a majority of the Finance Committee presented: State Compensations Ins.Fund. Carried, voting aye. • Moved by Crandall, of Henry L3irkholz, the City attorney. Communication seconded by Cordingly that the bill repairs to Automobile, be referred to Carried. from the Automobile Club of Southern California, regarding contract and directing signs, was read and ordered filed. Budget of the National City Library was presented, and ordered filed. Petition of C.O.Adams for free junk license was read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that request be granted. Carried. 127. Report of the Librarian for the year ending June 30, 1919 presented and ordered filed. Easements for sewer from F. F. Pecka, R.M.& Fva A.Fly, Lydia E. Mills, Carl L & Sophia M. Welsbacher and L.F.C. & Ada R. Smith, to the City of National City, presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the City Clerk be instructed to have easements recorded. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Applications for sidewalk and curb in front of Lots 34 to 41 inclusive, Block 1, Coombes Place, were read. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that the City Engineer be instructed to set stakes according to profile. Carried. . The President of the Board notified the members to be present Monday, Aug. 11 at 10:00 o'clock A.M. to sit as a Board of Equalization. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that Board adjourn.
