Trustees present,-Cordingly, Crandall and Hertel. Snook and Weisser absent. Minutes of regular meeting of Jan. 7, 1919 read and approved. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly, that recuest be denied. Carried. Petition of J. R. Belt to remove trees, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that it be referred to the Tree Committee. Carried. Petition of Mrs. J. C. Ba11 to remove trees, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that it be referred to the Tree Committee. Carried. application of Pollard and Mulholand for transfer of pool license Mas read. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that the recuest be granted. Carried. • Report of the Health Officer for year ending Dec. 31, 1918, was read. Moved by Crandall , seconded by Cordingly, that rercrt be received and filed. Ca--ried. 95. s Communications from F. F. Osborn and F. F. Martin, stating that they did not care to serve as members of the Board of Health were read, and ordered filed. Communication from the National City Schools requesting permission for target practice by the High School Cadets, Was read. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that re- quest be granted. Carries. The Tree Committee reported that Mr. Heldin had been granted permission to trim trees to the same height as on opposite side of the street; also that Mrs. De Ford be granted permission to remove the eucalyptus tree and the pepper trees sn National Avenue, but not to remove trees on lath Street, and the City ^,lerk instructed to notify parties concerned. Bond of Guy C. Warner, Master Plumber, was presented. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that Bond be approved. Carried. Bond of Tattersall & Chase presented. The City Clerk was instructed to notify them that it will be necessary for each to file a Bond and procure a license.
