National City, Calif. June 3, 1919.
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the City Clerk. Trustees present,- Cordingly,
Snook and Crandall. Weisser late. Hertel absent.
Voted by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Trustee
Crandall act as President of the Board pro tem. Carried.
Minutes of regular meeting of May 20th and adjourned
meetings of May 21 and 22, 1919, read and approved.
The following bills, audited by a majority of the
Finance Committee presented.

Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
- Petition of J. N. Weisser to install gasoline pump
and tank was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook
that the petition be granted. Carried.
• Petition of citizens requesting the appointment of
Mrs. Oliver Bower and Mr. C. B. Ireland as Library Trustees
was read, and laid over until next meeting.
. Communication from the Board of Trustees of the Nati-
onal City Public Library, requesting the appointment of Dr.
Theo. F. Johnson and Mre. Carl S. Owen to serve as Library
Trustees was read and laid over until next meeting.

Trustee Weisser arrived.
Policy of the State Compensation Insurance Fund,
expiring June 1, 1920, received.
agreement of Ed Willoughby, et al for easement
through alley in Block 1 of Coombe's Place, was read.
• . Resolution No. 565 of Intention to close part of
alley in Block 1, Coombe° Place, was read. Moved by Weisser,
seconded by Snook that resolution be adopted. Carried all
Trustees present voting aye.
. Moved by Snook, seconded by Weisser that the
President appoint a Committee of three to determine
territory to be thrown out of City. Carried.
Committee appointed,— Trustee Weisser, Cordingly
and Crandall.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Board
adjourn. Carried.
