Trustees present,- Cordingly, Snook, Weisser and Crandall. Hertel absent. Moved by Weisser, seconded by Snook that Trustee Crandall act as President pro tem. Carried. Minutes of regular meeting of June 3, 1919 read and approved. The following bills audited by the Finance Committee presented: Frank Russell J. H. Hall Sweetwater Water Rz Wade C. 8. Soper Salary, May Cutting wood Co. Water supply St. Dept. Labor • Supplies $45.00 4.25 201.49 42.00 2.75 Total $295.49 Moved by Weisser, seconded by Snook that bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Communication from C. B. Ireland requesting that he be not considered as a candidate for appointment as member of the Library Board, was read and ordered filed. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare petitions escludingfrom the City that portion south of 30th Street from the westerly boundary of the City to the westerly line of 1/4 Section No. 127; thence northerly to the northerly line of 1/4 Section No. 127; thence easterly to the easterly City limits. Carried. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that Dr. Theo. F. Johnson and Mrs. Anna R. Owen be appointed Library Trustees to serve for the three years from June 30th, 1919 to June 30, 1922. Carried. The Committee on paving appointed by the Olivewood Club were present and submitted outlines of paving, totaling 6-11/16 miles at an estimated cost of $114,832.00 upon the following Streets: 119. First Street to F. Avenue to Second Street to Highland Avenue; Eighth Street from National avenue to Paradise Valley Sanitarium; Thirteenth Street from National Avenue to Seventh Avenue; Twenty-fourth Street from 6th Avenue to Highland Avenue; Highland Avenue from Second Street to 50th Street; National Aven*e- from l3th Street to 24th Street; Seventh Avenue from 13th Street to 23rd. Street; Sixth Avenue from 24th Street to 23rd Street; 23rd Street from Sixth Avenue to Eighth Avenue. • Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the City Engineer be instructed to employ a man at a salary of $100.00 per month to rush work of sewer. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Board adjourn. Carried. ATTEST:• City Clerk.
