Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly,
Snook, Crandall and Hertel.
Weisser absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of Sept. 2, 1919 read
and approved.
The following bills, audited by a majority of the

Moved by Crandall, seconded by Snook that bills be
allowed and warrants ordered drawn
all Trustees present voting aye.
Report of the Paving Committee, recommending a bond
issue of $140,000.00, was read. Moved by Snook, seconded
by Crandall that the report by rec'ived and filed. Carried.
" Comxrn rication from 'Losers. Howie and Bollard, regarding
work on F. Avenue between 31st and 32nd. Streets, was read.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that it be referred
to the Street Superintendent. Carried.
The City Clerk reportedi e was in receipt of a check
for 419.33 from the State Compensation Insurance Fund,
refund on earned Premium of 1913 Policy.
Ordnance No. 491, Fixing the Rate and Levying the Taxes
for the Fiscal Year 1919-1920, at $1.19, was placed on final
passage, and on motion by Cordingly, seconddd by Crandall,
same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye.

Easement for Sewer from Carl S. and Anna R. Owen to the
City of National City, was presented. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Snook that the City Clerk be instructed to have
same recorded. Carried.
Resolution No. 669, authorizing the President of the
Board of Trustees to Secure the Necessary Data and Make
application to the State Board of Health for Permit to
Deposit and Discarge Sewage r^ffluent and Sludge from a
Septic Tank into a Tide 'later Slough from San Diego Bay.
Moved. by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Trustees pre -lent voting aye.
Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly, that the
Board adjourn to Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Carried.
