Trustees present,-Rvans, Cordingly, and Crandall. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fvane that Trustee Crandall act as President pro tem. Carried. Minutes of adjourned meeting of March 20th read and approved. The following billq, audited bv a majority of the Finance Committee presented: Trustee Weisser arrived. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Evans that it be receive' and filed. Carried. Communication from the Health Officer regarding ponds of stagnant water, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Evans that the Street Superinter.dent be instructed to procure oil as requested and oil ponds. Carried. 49 . '/ r Bid of L. R. C. Smith for the constriction of the Bridge en Highland Avenue across Sweetwater River, for $2275.00, was read. No other bide received. Movod by cordingly, seconded by Weisser that all bids be rejected. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 3ond of W. G. Willie, Master Plumber was presented. Moved by Weisser, seconded by Fvans that the bond be approved. Carried. Reports of the City Clerk and Treasurer for the quarter ending March 31, 1918, presented. Moved by Fvans, seconded by Cordingly th-t reports be received and filed. Carried. 10 Report of the Recorder for the months of January, February, and March, 1918 was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fvans that teport be received and filed. Carried. The Tree Committee reported as follows regarding petitions presented at last meeting: Isaac Padgett was given permission to remove trees. Mr. Cleghorn allowed to remove portion. Mr. Stang, Mrs. Fvans and T. Laundy were given permission to top trees. Mrs. J.D. Cune requested permission to top trees on 5th Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets. Permission was also asked tc top four trees on 19th Street between oth and 7th Avenues and four trees on 18th Street between oth and 7th Avenues. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Weisser that they be referred to the tree committee with power to act. Trustee Howard arrived, and took the chair. Motion carried. Trustee Crandall left Hall at this time. Resolution No. 550, authorizing the payment of Bonded Indebtedness due npril 1, 1918, was read. Moved by Fvans, seconded by Cordingly that the resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. 50.E ?loved by Weisser, seconded by Cordingly that the certified check of Mr. L. F. C. Smith which accompanied bid for bridge on Highland Avenue, be returned. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Weisser that Board adjourn to Monday, April 15th, 1918, at Tan o'clock A.U. Carried.
