Trustees present,-Cordingly, Snook, Crandall and Hertel. Weisser absent. Minutes of regular meeting of Oct. 15, 1918 read and approved. The following bills audited by a majority of the Finance Committee presented. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Snook that bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Labor 15.00 • • 1.50 8alary,6 days Nov. 6.00 $950.46 Arrangements Were made for a meeting of the Board of Trustees and the San Diego Consolidated Gas & =lectric Co., to be held Monday, Nov. 11, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. in S'n Diego, for the consideration of a lighting contract. Mr. Blackmer of the Lower California Chemical Co., was present and spoke regarding proposed sale of tide lands. Mr. R. E. Powell was present and applied for a license to conduct a pool hall on 8th Street between National and A. Avenues. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that request be denied. Carried. 84./ Mrs. Aldrich was present and reouested that a pool license be issued in her name. Referred to the health & Morals Committee. The City Marshal reported that the services of Deputy J. M. Pacaud were very unsatisfactory and wished to remove him. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly that the position of Night Watchman filled by J. M. Pacaud be declared vacant. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Snook that the City Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant in favor of Mr. J. M. Pacaud for six days service as Night Watchman in November. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Communication from the National Septic Process Protective League was received. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that it be received and filed. Carried. Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Board adjourn.
