Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees called
to order by the President. Trustees present, Cordingly,
Snook and Hertel. Weisser and Crandall absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of Oct. 1, 1918 read and
approved.
The following bills presented. Moved by Snook,
seconded by Cordingly that bills be allowed and warrants
ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees present
voting aye.

Communication from the Board of Trustees of the Library,
stating that Mrs. Rena R. Chaffin had resigned and recommend-
ing the appointment of Mrs. Carl 8. Owen was read.
Petition of citizens, suggesting the name of Mrs. H. L.
Minshall to fill the vacancy on the Board of Library Trustees
caused by the resigination of Mrs. Chaffin was read. Moved
Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Mrs. H. L. Minshall be
appointed a member of the Board of Library Trustees, for
the unexpired term of Mrs. Chaffin. Carried.
Communication from the Railroad Commission of California,
with copy of report 4735, covering crossings of the 8. D. & A.
Ry. was read. Trustee Crandall arrived. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Snook that it be referred to City attorney. Carried.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Snook that the President
arrange a meeting of citizens in regard to Street Lighting. Carrie
loved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly that Mr. F. F. Martin
be appointed a member of the Board of Health, for unexpired term
of Mr. T. L. Lawson. Carried.
Moved by Snook, seconded by Cordingly, that Board adjourn.
Carried.
