Trustees present,- Cordingly, Snook, Crandall and Hertel. Weisser absent. Minutes of regular meeting of Sept. 3, 1918 read and approved. The following bills, audited by a majority of the Finance Committee presented. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Snook that bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Rz Wade St. Dept. Labor $36.00 J. C. Ball • • 6.00 Chas. Stein • Hay 145.08 National Peed Store • Grain 32.55 Homeland Bldg. Co. Police & Fire Dept. 32.76 Total. . . . . . $252.39 The following bids for the repairs to the Highland Avenue bridge received: Jas. McCurdy and C. McKinley, $1,395.00; Raymond Hill, $1,400.00. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that the bid of Jas. McCurdy and C. McKinley for the repairs to the Highland Avenue bridge across the8weetwater River be accepted, and the President of the Board of Trustees be authorized to enter into a contract with said bidder for said work. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. Petition of Mrs. J. Fernberg to remove Eucalyptus trees around her property at Fourth Ave and 13th Street, agreeing to replace with other trees, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that the petition be granted. Carried. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Crandall that the Bond of F. Jenks, City Engineer be approved. Carried. Ordinance No. 488 , Firing the Rate at $1.12 and Levying the Taxes for the fiscal year 1918-1919, was / 79 placed on final passage, and on motion by Crandall, seconded by Snook, same adopted, all Trustees present voting aye. Bond of Frank M. Chase, Master Plumber, was presented. Moved by Crandall, seconded by Cordingly, that Bond be approved. Carried. The City Clerk reported that he had received Warrant from National School District for $300.00 in payment for, Lots 13 and 14, Block 208, Plat.
