National City, Calif. Aug. 21, 1917.
Fegular meeting of the Board of Trustees called to
order by the President. Trustees present,- Cordingly, Weisser
and Howard. Evans and Crandall absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of Aug. 7th read and
approved.
The President appointed Trustee Cordingly to act as a
member of the Finance Committee, for this meeting.
The following bills, audited by a majority of the
Finance Committee presented. Movnd by Weisser, seconded by
Cordingly, that the bills be allowed and warrants ordered
drawn for the same. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.

An easement for a public street, known as the Sweet-
water Road, signed by the following owners, Jerome C. Ford,
Ruth Lowe, James and Sarah Ward, Augustus B. and Hattie A.
Kimball, Arthur M. and Susan Arnold and The San Diego Land
Corporation., by John E. Boai and F. S. Jennings, was pre-
eented.Moved by Weisser, seconded by Cordingly, that same be
accepted and Clerk be instructed to have same recorded.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
Ordinance No. 474, regulating the sale of bread and
establishing the weight thereof was placed on final passage
and on motion by Weiseer, seconded by Cordingly, same adopted,
all Trustees present voting age.
Resolution No. 541, instructing the City Engineer to
defer proceeding with the plans and specifications for the
grading of 5th Street was read. Moved by Weisser, seconded
by Cordingly, that resol.:tion be adopted. Carried, all
Trustees present voting aye.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Weisser, that Board
adjourn. Carried.
