/Mayor Cooper, Porter Meek, Chief of Police and Vic Skinner,
City Engineer, all of the Ci ty of Escondido, present. Mayor Cooper
spoke to trE Council, asking the authors zat ion of a letter from the
City of National City stating that tiE City has ho objection to
the City of Escondido operating a radio station on the s:me
frequency as kationel Cit-' Police Station KQBE. It pas moved by
Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, tha the City Clerk be instructed
to write a letter in dinlicate stating that`the City of National
City has no objection to Escondido operating on the same frequency
as our local station. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
