He stated that he has the opportunity to purchase the who. rf 269 and requesred the Council to allow a low rental on the approach to the pier. Council assured him that the rental would be reasonable ar referred him to the City Attorney for the proper lease papers. Chief James Bird requested permission to overhaul Engine No. 2 and to install new brakes on Engine No. 1. Idoved by Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly, that the work be mrthorized.
