Councilmen Cordingly and Warner absent. thief Bird reported that the Dodge pick-up and the large Seagrave truck need painting and Suggested that the City purchase a paint gun for the use of all departments. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Thatcher, that the street department purchase a paint gun not to exceed the price of $ 35.00. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen Cordingly and Warne ryabsent. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that RESOLUTION NO. 2069 appointing Walter Towsiey to serve as a -a-o (o 7 probationary fireman for a period of six months at the salary / of $ 120.00 per month, commencing October 15, 1939, be adoptdd. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye on roll -call. Councilmen Cordingly and Warner absent. Matter of exempt license plates on the police cars referred to the City Attorney. Being no further business, it was moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Thatcher, that the meeting adjourn. Carried, all Council- men present voting aye. Councilmen Cordingly and Warner absent.
