A regular meeting of the City Council called to order by the
Mayor. Councilmen present: Cordingly, Kllcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Minutes of the regular meeting of February 1, 1938, read and
approved.
Bills audited by the Finance Committee presented:
General p ayroll $ 1,368.75
St. Dept. 330.00
Sinking Fund No. 7 2,450.00
Sinking Fund No. 6 7,500.00
General Expen¢ittres 2,997.25
Total $ 14,646.00
Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the bills be allowed
and warrants drawn for same. Carried, by the following vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, KilcrJase, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
-Street Commissioner Cordingly reported that the etgineering on
the Sidewalk job at 26th and F Avenue was correct and that there was
nothing the City could do.
-City Engineer Ireland reported that the survey on boulevard stops
would be complete within infew days. He also reported that the
pedestrian signs at the school crossings are removed and that the
school crossing signs are being painted on the street.
i9 �x 'RESOLUTION NO. 1942, authorizing the waiving of the 7% interest and
the cancellation fee on delinquent tax for Geo. S. Vanderburg, read.
Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Warner, that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, by the following vote towwit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
/Check for $ 3,086.31 submitted by the San Diego Consolidated Gas
and Electric Company for payment as per franchise, accepted and ordered
deposited.
'Report of the Fire Marshall for the year 1937 read and ordered
filed.

'Easement submitted by Joseph H. Hamill and Daphne L. Hamill
for sewer read. MOved by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, that RESOLUTION

NO. 1943, accepting said easement, be adopted. Carried, by the following
vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
9 /RESOLUTION NO. 1944, authorizing the payment of Bonds 61, 62, 63,
64 and 65, Serie$ P @ $ 1,000 each; and 100 interest coupons @ $ 25.00
each; read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that the
Resolution be adopted. Carried, by the following vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayee: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
RESOLUTION NO. 1945, authorizing the payment of B onds # 1 and'
$ 2, Series G, @ $ 1,000 each; and 20 interest coupons • ,$ 22.50 each;
read. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, by the following vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Warner, that the following
transfers be authorized:
$ 186.48 from the Sp. Del. tax fund to Sinking Fund No.7
$ 721.48 Thom the Sp. Del. Tax Fund to St Imp fund.
Carried, by the following vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen none.
Absent: none.
y4-L Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that RESOLUTION NO.
1946 appointing Cleone Rasmussen as Deputy City Clerk at the monthly
compensation of $ 65.00 per month commencing February 15, 1938, be
adopted. Carried, by the following vote to -wit:
Ayes: Councilman Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: none.
Being no further business, it was moved by Cordingly, seconded
by Kilcrease, that the meeting adjourn. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
