allowed and warrants drawn for same. Carried, by the following vote
to -wit:
Ayes: Councilmen Cordingly,Kilcrease,Thatcher,Warner,Bird.,
Noyes: Councilmen, none
Absent: Councilmen none.

Howard Smith, owner of property at 9th and K present.
He asked that the location of the sewer line on 8th st at K avenue
be determined. City Engineer Cayser instructed to attend to the matter.
/Request of Harry Meyers regarding dump referred to the City
Planning Commission.
Convention Bulletin of the League of California Municipalities
presented, and ordered filed.
4/Letter from the Division of HiJhways in regards to the
placing of warning signs at the Fire station, read. City Clerk instructe
to determine the cost of installation of standard fire station signs by
the State.
Communication from A Carlisle and Co. presenting the ballot
for the September 17th Special Bond Election for proof.
,c„ s-6/57-2,9,AESOLUTION NO. 1829 authorizing the payment of 105 interest
coupons from Series F, duo and payable August 15, 1936, read.'Moved by
Warner, seconded by 'ordingly, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Councilmen present voting aye.
.%Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Warner that the following
transfers be authorized:
75.58 from the Sp.Del.Tax Fund to Park Main & Imp Fund.
500.00 from the Sp.Del.Tax fund to the Library Fund.
Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
City Engineer Cayser reported that the petition by H.C.plumb
for the lowering of the sidewalk has been withdrawn. That the petition
of Philip Scheuerman for the establishing of a grade for street on
26th from National to D had been arranged _astisfactorily.
J Engineer Cayser submitted a map of the proposed area to be
dredged and filled by the Government.
He also reported that the W.P.A. project for the sidewalks is
still operating. The necessary figures have been compiled and the
official action started for the new City Hall project. The County
Welfare Department requested a project for maintenande work at the
Fire and Street departments be submitted by the City. The National
Youths Administration has allotted'20 youths for miscellaneous work
in the City. Project to start September 2, 1936.

Being no further business, ibcwasemOved by Kilcrease,
seconded by Bird, that the meeting adjourn. Carried, all Councilmen
present voting aye.
