Carried, all Councilmen present voting ave. / Comr:unication from the Harbor Disposal Company, read and ordered file. / Communication from the Division of Hi,hways regarding the oxpenditufe of the z Cent Gas Tax Fund for Streets of Major Importance and submitting the Memorandum of Agreement covering same, read. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the Resolution approving same be sighed and adopted at the next meeting. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. 2q9 • p Report from Arnold Cayser, City Engineer, regarding the new City Hall Project. PIoved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the Engineer be instructed to resubmit the City Hall project. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Communication fron P.E.Killion regarding the baseball schedule and the summer recreation program, read and ordered filed. ORDINANCE NO. amending Ordinance No. 538, of the City of National City, California relating to the Assescmen_t, Levy and Collection of Tales, read. Moved by Cordingly,s econded by Thatcher, chat the Ordinance be introduced and laid over, under the rules and according to law. Carried, all Councilmen present votingaye. Communication from the Chemical Equipment Corporation submitting the letter of agreement for the purchase of the Chlorinator for the Swimming Pool, read/ Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that the terms of the letter be accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting a ye. ,Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the sales agreements from Andy Woods Chevrolet Co., and from E.G.Tarr, for the purchase of the pick-up trucks be turned over to the City Attorney Campbell to obtain contracts; said contracts to be presented at the next meeting. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. KMr. Popular present regarding the traffic on Main Street; referred to the Police Department.
