Councilmen present:- Cordingly, T'natcher,,Warner, Bird. Councilman absent:-Kilcrease. Minutes of the previous meeting ordered held over until the next regular meeting. No Bills. %,0r.DIBSOICE NO. 646 amending Ordinance TTo. 538, of the City of National City, relating to the assessment, levy and collection of taxes, read aid placed on final passage. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly and 'garner, that the Ordinance be adopted. Carried, by the following vote to -wit: Ayes: Cordingly, Thatcher, Warner,Bird. Nayes: Councilmen, none. Absent: Councilmen, Kilcrease. '1 RESOLUTIC.T NO. 1822 approving of the Memorandum of Agreement ' ;iththe Division of Highways, regarding, the expenditure of the * Cent Gas Ta= Fund for Streets of Major Importance, read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded b;,rWarner, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. / League of California Municipalities L!unicipal Bulletin No. 12, road and placed on file. This bulletin was in regards to Important new P A policy: I Communication from Lila Williams in regards to the insurance on Iho two nee•; automobiles, read and ordered filed. Official cow ur_icationfrom the County Board of Supervisors transmitting a copy of the order of the Supervisors granting the County Road Department permission and authority to use County equipment for the purpose of grading and laying the oil on Bay Blvd, read and ordered filed. I/ Engineer Cayser granted parmission to hire two men at $ 4.50 per day to help with certain surveys. �Communication from the War Department regarding the public hearing on the application_ of the City- of Coronado for a tunnel across and under the San Diego Bay., lead and ordered filed. 301 Letteh from Asa B. 'reob, submitting the delinquent roll for the year 1935-36, and stating the amount of t axes collected as Per tax roll, read and ordered filed. --Loved by Thatcher,seconded by Varner, that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare the Ordinance calling a Special Election for the bonds for the new -City Hall.
