Councilmen present: Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher,Warner, Bird. Minutes of the regular mooting of October 21, 1936 read and approved. Bills audited by the rinance Committee presented: General payroll 9 1,681.70 Street Dept. payroll 297.00 Expenditures -as per ledger 1,590.21 -as per Librarian 426.15 TotalO § 3,996.06 Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordir_gly,that the bills be allowed and warrants drawn for same. Carried, by the following vote to -wit: Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly,Kilcrease,Thatcher,Warner,Bird. Nayes: Councilmen, non_®® Absent: Councilmen, none. Communication fron the City of Oceanside announcing the meeting of the County League of California Municipalities, read and ordered filed. ..-Communication from Charles Richardson, Secretary of the San Liego County League of California ILunicipalitios, regarding the regular meeting of the League at Oceanside, read and ordered filed. vCommunication from the California Safety Council, Inc., read and ordered filed. --Communication from Lila Williams requesting the removal of trees from in front of property at 611 Highland Avenue, read and referred to the Commissioner of Stroets. Report of the City Court fon the month of October,1936 of 718.50 read and ordered filed. Communication from C.N.Atterbury requ;sting a license for a cigar stone and two card tables, read and referred to the Chief of Police. /Bond and Contract of the San Liego Consolidated Gas and Electric Company for the furnishing of current to the Lighting 31 District No. 1, psesonted. Bond accepted; fora of contract accepted with corrections to be made in stated amounts to be paid. Carried, all Councilmen present voting ave. g1 4 /PVG — vRESOLUTION NO. 1846, Approving First Supplemental Memoranduw of Agreement Covering Expenditure of * cent State highway Fund for the 1935-37 Biennium, road. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Warner, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all "ouncilmen present voting ayo. Lin-vies/7 TRESOLUTION NO. 1847, authorizing the cancellation of certain .delingizexit taxes assessed the name of Uri Metcalf and Lavina Metcalf, read and upon the motion by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, same was adopted. "RESOLUTION NO. 1848, authorizing the cancellation of Tax bill No. 2580 of the current t ax roll ( 1936.37) assessed in the name of Geo. P.J.Williems, read. Moved by Warner, seconded by Thatcher, that the Resolution b e adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. .,-Mayor Bird reported on his conference crith tho Library Board in regards to the registering of the Library ,.arrmnts with the City Clark. Clerk reported that the Clerk of the board had registeded the warrants. Carried, by the following vote towit: AyesL Councilmen, uordingly,Kilcrease,Thatcher,Warner,Bird. Nayes: Councilmen, none. Absent: Councilmen, none. Moved by Cordingly, soconded by Kilcreaso, that the meeting adjourn.
