Resolution # 1762, amendingLpart of Resolution # 1737, regarding the appointing of certain officers and employees of the City of National City, California, and fixing compensation, read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Warner, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried by the following vote to wiT: Ayes: Councilmen., Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird. Nayes: Councilmen, none. Absent: Councilmen, none. The insurance policy presented by iir. Scheurnan on contents of Library, read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease, that the natter of the insurancolicy be referred to the Library. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. The insurance policies presented by Guy -Guy, read and ordered referred to the Committee on Insurance. G.W.Eller requested that he be allowed to remove two trees. Moved by Warner, seconded by Thatcher, that the request be allowed. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. ORDINANCE NO. amending OE DI?DANCE NO. 508 of the City of National City, California, relating to Travel and Traffic upon the Public Streets, read.. Moved by Thatcher 188 seconded by Kilcrease that the Ordinance be introduced bnd laid over, under the rules Ind acc4ding to law. Carried, all Councilmen present voting_aye. Moved by Kilcrease seconded by Warner that the matter of a loan be laid over until four o'clock P.M. Thursday Jan.3, 1935._ Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Thatcher, that the City Council adjourn unti3 four o'clock P.M. Thursday Jan. 3, 1935. Carried, all Councilmen present voting, aye. Councilmen present,Cordingly, Kilcrease, Warner, bird. Councilmen absent, Thatcher. Attorney Ludwig of Chula Vista was present and presented arguments for the settlement of the claims of Mr. & I&'s. Whiting. City Council asked for more time before making decision. ENSOLUTION NO. 1763 designating depositary of the City of \National City read. Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the RESOLUTION be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen ;present voting aye. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by '1krner, that a warrant be drawn in favor of J.A.Isaacson for K250.00 for services rendered.
