A regular meeting of the City Council was called
to order by the Mayor. Councilmen present: Cordingly,
Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, and Bird.
Minutes of the regular meeting of April 16, 1935,
read and approved.

bills be allowed and warrants drawn for same. Carried by
the following vote to wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner,
and Bird.

Absent: Councilmen, none.

expressing their appreciation of the donation made to
them by the City Council, also for the use of the City
Truck and men in helping with their flower show, read
and ordered filed.

an instructor at the Swimming Pool, read and ordered

Commerce, regarding the "Annual Clean-up Week" read
and ordered filed.

until the next meeting.

Cpmpany regarding a rebate of 422.84, read and ordered

'Communication from The Division of Highways
regarding our recommendations as to the use of the funds
available for the next biennium. Moved by Thatcher,
seconded by Warner, that the City Clerk be instructed
to communicate with the District Engineers Office
listing the re-surgacing of National Avenue from Main
street to 13th street at an approximate cost of $ 12,000.00.
Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Communication from Guy & Guy, with renewal policies
on the Seagrave Fire Trucks, read. Moved by Thatcher,
seconded by Cordingly, that the policies be accepted.
Carried, by the following vote to wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner,
and 9 rd.
Nayes: Councilmen, none.
Absent: Councilemn, none.
J`1'ime report of the Fire Marshall, Fire Department,
and City Court for the month of April, read. Moved by
Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly, tha t the reports be
accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
°Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly, that
RESOLUTION N0. 1770, authorising the payment of Bonds
43 & 44, Series F, and 31 Interest Coupons, be adopted.
Carried, by the following vote to wit:
f$es: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner,
and Bird.
Nayes: Councilemen, none.
Absent: Councilmen, none.
Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordingly, that the
proper officers be authorized to transfer $ 400.00
from the Sp. Del. Tax. Fund to Sinking Fund # 6.
Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
The City Clerk was asked to write a letter to the
Miwanis Club, thanking them for the use of the Club -house
for the League of Municipalities dinner; also to the
Boy Scouts for postponing their meeting.
Moved by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease that the City
Attorhey be instructed to draw up a resolution over-riding
the Planning Commission's decision in the Nat'lnCity Salvage

Company appeal. Carried, by the following vote to wit:
Ayes: Councilmen, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Warner, bird.
Hayes: Councilmen, Thatcher.
Absent: Councilmen, none.
Moved by Cordingly, secodded by Warner, that the
City Council adjourn. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
