Report of the Police Department for the month of April, 1935, read and ordered filed. c Communication from Senator Ed Fletcher, regarding the proposed sources of added revenue , read .1nd ordered filed. Matter of State Compensation Insurance Fund, laid on table until the next meeting. Application of Leonard Reache for a p©ol Room license, read. Chief Knapp advised the Council to refuse the license. It was moved by Cordingly, second- ed by Thatcher, that the matter be laid over until the next meeting. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Communication from the San Diego Humane Society read and ordered filed. Communication from the National Audit & System Co., Inc. read and ordered filed. c'Communicatior from the City -County Project Bureau, read and ordered filed. It was moved by Cordingly, seconded by Kilcrease that the Street Superintendent be authorized to purchase pipe for the Sewage disposal plant and install same under the direction of the County Health Department. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Miss Hildich of the Sweetwater Union High School , onibehalf-of,the CivicslClass , thanked the Mayor and the City Council for the courtesy extended So them.
