Attorney O.C.Ludwig presented the case for the claimants. Matter referred to the City Attorney Isaacson. 185 Public Hearing of the petition of the N.C. Saltage do. was called at eight o'clock. The subsequent petition of the N.C.Salvage Co. was read. Communication from Frank W Keller, 2904 M Ave., Nat'l City; and B.C.Harrison, 530 E First St., Nat'l City, protesting against the petition were read. Raymond Hill of the City Planning Commission stated the decision of the Commission and asked that the Council refuse the request. Arguments for the petition were stated by the following: Ed Tiffany and Wm Crosby. Arguments against the petition were stated by L.�,.C.Smith, Mrs. Nellie J Walker d�M .W. the following: Haseltine. City Attorney Isaacson stated that the City Council had 90 days to act on the appeal. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Thatcher, that meeting of Jan.2, aye. the matter be laid over until the next regular 1935. Carried, all Councilmen present voting Moved by Warner, seconded by Cordinglyn that the proper officers be authorized to make the following transfer: 1$238.15 from the Sp. Del. Tax Fund to the General Fund. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Mayor Bird Peouested tnat therQouncilmen be present at a special meetin of the City Council to be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 27, 1934, in the Council Chambers at the City Hall.
