Regular meeting of the City Council called to order by the
Mayor. Councilmen present Pettit, Thatcher, Waddell, and Requa.
Minutes of regular meeting of January 16, 1934, read and
approved.

referred to the Fire Chief.

Moved by Pettit, seconded by Waddell, that the City accept
soil from Wm. N. Drew, et al. Carried.

for approval by Council was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by
Pettit, that the Council approve said Projects, also renovating
lawns in the Park. Carried.
o Communication from Division of Highways, District No. 11,
regarding Project Agreement, was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded
by Thatcher, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to
enter into this agreement with the Division of Highways. Carried.

presented and ordered filed.

ordered filed.

°Resolution No. 1730 over -ruling protests and objections
on closing portion of Alley in Block 1, Kimball's 8&lb. was
read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Thatcher, that the Resolution
be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
°RESOLUTION NO. 1731, ordering work of closing portion of
Alley in Block 1, Kimball's Seib., was read. Moved by Thatcher,
seconded by Waddell, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Councilmen present voting aye.
°Communication from J. A. Isaacson regarding claim of Mrs.
Ludie Wolfington, read and ordered filed. Moved by Waddell,
seconded by Pettit, that the claim of Mrs. Woltingtol be denied.
Carried.

Councilman Pettit was excused.
Mayor Requa appointed Councilman Fred Thatcher as Chair-
man of Streets and Public Property Committee.
Mr. Fred Erb was present regarding Eucalyptus trees in
Alley adjoining his property. Mr. Aldrich was requested by
the Council to' interview Mr. Bennie Grey, regarding the matter.
Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Waddell, that the Council
adjourn. Carried.
