Councilmen present, Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, and Bird. Councilman Warner absent. Minutes of the regular meetings of June 19, 1934 and July 3, 1934, read and apuroved. D Communication from Wm. Block making a complaint against the Sweetwater Water Corp., was read and ordered filed. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly, that the Council accept the report. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Report of City Treasurer for quarter ending June 30, 1934, was presented. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that the Treasurer's report be accepted. Carries, all Councilmen present voting ave. o Report of the City Court for the month of June 1934, was presented. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that the report ba accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. o Report from the Fire Marshall's Office for the month June 1934, was presented. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the report be accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Time report of the Fire Dept. for the month of June 1934, was presented and ordered filed. Water reports from the County Health Dept. were presented and ordered filed. Annual report of the Library was presented and placed on file until a future date. o ORDIilANCR NO. 638, amending Ordinance No. 6E/, relating to public dance halls, was placed on final passage. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the Ordinance be adopted. Carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Bird. Nays: Councilmen, none. Absent: Councilmen Warner. 160. °Communication from Joseph A. Vurgason, Publisher of the National City Reporter, stating that the newspaper is now of general circulation and cualifiedto publish legal advertising. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Thatcher, that the communication be placed on file for future reference. Carried. 0 RESOLUTION NO. 1750, approving the assessment and diagram of Lighting District No. 1, was presented. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. 0 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NU. 1751, National City Lighting District No. 1, was presented. 'Roved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Thatcher, that the Council adjourn. Carried.
