present voting aye.
Mr. John P. Doyle was present requesting a free Veterans
License to sell ice cream. Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by
Thatcher, that the license be granted. Carried.
o Communication from National School District regarding
establishment of grade on Lanoitan Street, was read. Matter
referred to Councilman Thatcher.
° RESOLUTION NO. 1744, a Resolution indorsing the proposed
Colorado Valley Highway, was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded
by Cordingly, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all
Councilmen present voting aye.
°Communication from National Audit & System Co. regarding
an annual audit, was read and ordered filed.

0 Communication from League of California Municipalities
regarding a Special Service Fund, was read. Moved by Thatcher,
seconded by Kilcrease, that the City Clerk write a letter to
the League regarding same. Carried.
Report for City Court for month of May 1934 was presented
and ordered filed.
Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Warner, that the City
Council write a letter to Miss Susie Moore, Librarian, regarding
the balance of the Library Fund. Carried.
° RESOLUTION NO. 1745, a Resolution Transferring Certain
Funds was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease,
that tte Resolution be adopted. Carried by the following
vote: Ayes: Councilmen Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher,
Warner, Bird. Nays: none. Absent: none.
o ORDINAvCE NO.6_37 , Repealing Ordinance No. 621, was read.
Moved by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, that the Ordinance be
introduced and laid over, under the rules and according to
law. Carried, all Councilmen present voting ave.
Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that the proper
Officers be authorized to make the following transfers to the
General Fund:
Street Fund $430.00
Engineering Fund 61.70
Pound Fund 60.71
Park Maint. Fund 275.03
Planning Commission Fund 55.03
Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
°RESOLUTION NO. 1746, appointing time and place for hear-
ing protests anu airecting Clerk to give Notice of said hear-
ing, was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Kilcrease, that
the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
Moved by Warner, seconded by Thatcher, that the City Clerk
write to The Seagrave Corp. regarding installments on Fire
Engine. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Upon recommendation of Chief of Police Knapp, it was moved
by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, that the application of R. E.
Kramer to operate a card table at 1807 McKinley Avenue, be
granted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.

Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Thatcher, that the Council
adjourn. Carried.
