Councilmen present Pettit, Thatcher, Waddell, and Requa. Minutes of regular meeting of March 6, 1934, read and approved. Carried, all Council- men present voting aye. °Communication from Rogan Corp. regarding ten year plan pay- ment on delinquent taxes was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Waddell, that the request be denied, due to the fact that there of has/been enought demand for this plan. Carried. °Communication from Paradise Valley Sanitarium regarding Fire Plug, was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Thatcher, that a 4" Fire Plug be placed at Sixth Street and Arcadia Street. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Application of Frederick H. Jensen to operate Pool Hall formerly operated by George Baeder, was read. Recommendation of Chief of Police Knapp regarding granting of Pool Hall License was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Thatcher, that the license be granted. Carried. 128. 0 Communication from J. W. Brennan, Port Director, requesting Council to write a letter to Chief of Army Engineers, regarding change in Harbor Lines. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit, that the City Clerk be instructed to write Chief of Army Engineers, requesting that he grant application of Harbor Department, City of San Jiego, for change in Harbor Lines. Carried. °Communication from wansley, Crandall & Reuter, regarding audit of City records, was read and ordered filed. Executed copy of Project Agreement covering State Highway Route No. 2, was ordered filed. Matter of stock farm inside of City Limits, laid over until next meeting. 0 RESOLUTION N0. 1735, ordering payment of interest coupons due March 15, 1934, in Sinking Fund No. 4, was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
