Moved b,; Kilcrease, seconded by Thatcher, that the bills be allowed,
and Warrants ordered drawn for same in accordance with the provisions
in Resolution No. 1747. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Communication from the National City Salvage Co. regarding
the erection of a new building on their property, was read. Moved
by Thatcher, seconded by Cordingly, that the matter be referred
to the Planning Commission. Carried.
°Communication from Irs. H. C. Rauch, expressing the approval
of the operation of the Swimming Pool, was read and ordered filed.
°Communication from the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, expressing
their appreciation for the cooperation National City has given in
raising funds for the California Eacific Exposition, was read and
ordered filed.
9 Communication from V. M. Hatfield, asking the City for help
on his t-.xes, was read and ordered filed.
D Communication from The Committee for Annexation requesting
the Council to put annexation on the Nov. 6th ballot, was read.

seconded by Warner, that the communication be
filed. Carried by the following vote to -wit: Ayes: Councilmen
Cordingly, Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner, Bird. Nayes: Councilmen,
none. Absent: Councilmen, none.
°Report of the Police Dept. for the month of September 1934,
was presented and ordered filed.

1934, was read and ordered filed.
