Moved by Kilcrease, seconded by Cordingly, that the bills be allowed,
and Warrants ordered drawn in accordance with the provisions in
Resolution No. 1742. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Mr. Heitmiller was present requesting'a contract with the City
to collect rubbish. Matter was referred to the Street Committee.
Communication from Paradise Valley Sanitarium regarding
Street Lights, was read and referred to the Finance Committee:.
° Communication from War Department regarding change in Harbor
Lanes, was read and ordered filed.
Communication from Franchise Investment Association regarding
Franchises, was read and referred to the city Attorney.
° Report of the Planning Commission regarding; the request of the
National City Salvage Co., was presented and ordered filed.
'Report of the City Clerk for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1934,
was presented. Moved by Warner, seconded by Kilcrease, that the

report be accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
b Report of the City Treasurer for the quarter ending Sept. 30,
1934, was presented. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Warner, that
the report be accepted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
O Report of the City Court for the month of September was presen-
ted and ordered filed.
° Report of B. J. Gautereaux, Park Supt. for the Swimming Pool,
was read and ordered filed.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Warner, that the proper Officers
be authorized to make the following transfers:
