National City, California, April 11, 1933.
Regular adjourned meeting of the City Council called to order
by the Mayor. Councilmen present, Pettit, Thatcher, Wade, Waddell
and Requa.
o Communication from Chief of Police recommending the transfer
of Pool Hall license from Ben S. Boggs to W. H. Taylor was read,
andodr38red filed. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade, that transfer
be made. Carried.
Application of W. H. Taylor for license to dispense beverages
at 836 National Avenue, accompanied by a fee of 630.00, for sale on
premises only, was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Pettit,
that the license be granted. Carried.
'Application of Geo. Baader for license to dispense beverages
at No. 15 West 8th Street, accompanied by a fee of $30.00, for sale
on premises only, was read. Matter referred to police commissioner
for investigation.
Application of Mrs. Etta Klein for license to dispense beverages
at 2329 National Avenue, accompanied by a fee of $30.00, for sale
on premises only, was read, and laid over till next meeting.
°Fee of $30.00, from E. G. Gould for application for beverage
license filed, presented. Moved by Pettit, seconded by Wade,
that the license be granted. Carried.
•Petition of A. Casas for permission to move Pool Hall located
at 1827-6th Avenue to 1707-7th Avenue, was read. Moved by Waddell,
seconded by Thatcher that permission be granted. Carried.
Moved by Wade, seconded by Thatcher, that the Council' adjourn.
Carried.
