Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. °Communication from City Clerk of San Diego regarding re -valuation of San Diego Consolidated Gas and Electric Company properties was read. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Waddell, that the Clerk be instructed to notify the City Council of San Diego that there are no funds in the budget with which to meet this expense. Carried. o Copy of Resolution No. 348 of the City of Chula Vista appointing, 0. C. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Waddell, that the City Attorney, be instructed to get information regarding procedure of Railroad Commission on hearing a case on their own motion. Carried. • Moved by Wade, seconded by Pettit, that J. E. Blackman's request for postponement of payments of rent for twelve months be denied. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. P Councilman Wade brought up the question of sewer laterals.- Irloved by Pettit, seconded by Wade, that permission be granted Mr. Geyser to make connection to adjoining property which is adjacent to 710-1st Avenue and that the City Clerk be instructed to send a of this}.portion of the minutes to Mr. Phelps, 7 ° Moved by Wade, be authorized to work out a schedule for rates ob sewer laterals. Carried. o RESOLUTION NO. 1691, fixing the time for hearing report of st Avenue. copy Carried. seconded by Waddell, that the City Engineer Planning Commission on proposed zoning OPdinance,was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Pettit, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Moved by Pettit, seconded by Wade, that the Council adjourn. Carried.
