Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. o Communication from V. M. Hatfield relative to license fee on Auto Wrecking Yards read and ordered filed. °Communication from League of California Municipalities relative to Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, presented and laid over until next meeting. o Communication from National City Chamber of Commerce approving efforts of City Council to secure a new City Hall read and ordered filed. o Communication from Industrial Accident Commission regarding equipment for new employees read and ordered filed. °The following applications for position of Deputy City Treasurer were presented: Miss Jessie B. Carter, Berkeley Aderer, Harold Requa Jr., 76. Gladys M. Benedict, C, Clayton Bullen, Minnie S. Baxter. Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit that the applications be refrredto the City Treasurer for recommendation. Carried. "Application of E. G. Gould, accompanied by license fee of $20.00 for license to sell Beverages in Original Containers was read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade that license be granted. Carried. °Communication from Francis X. Morrow and Emma R. Morrow regarding regulatory ordinance read and ordered filed. ° Report of Building Inspector for month of June read and ordered filed. °Report of City Court for month of June read and ordered filed. °Report of National City Public Library for fiscal year 1932-1933 read and ordered filed. °Report of San Diego County Health Department on vital statistics presented and ordered filed. °Matter of Sewer Ordinance brought up and referr&dto City Attorney °Matter of widening Highway No. 101 from 13th Street to South City Limits which is being presented to Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, was discussed. °Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit that the proper Officers be authorized to make the following transfers:from the General Fund to the Fire Fund $100.00; from the General Fund to Police Fund $250.00; from the General Fund to the Park Maint. & Imp. Fund $100.00. Carried. °Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade that the proper Officers draw Warrant -on General Fund in favor of J. A. Isaacson for sum of $200.00 to cover extra compensation for Water Hearing. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade, that Council adjourn. Carried.
