Moved by Wade, seconded by Pettit, that the bills be allowed and
Warrants ordered drawn for sane. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
^Mr. Fox of the Humane Society was present regarding pick-up of
dogs, etc. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Thatcher, that a committee
of three be appointed to look into the matter. Carried. Mayor
Requa appointed Councilmen Waddell, Thatcher and Wade to act on
the Committee.

°Communication from Glen Glasford regarding license to sell light
wines and beer was read and ordered filed.
°Communication from Guy and Guy submitting quotation of $497.52
on Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance for year beginning
December 19, 1932,was read and ordered filed.
°Communication from Pacific Indemnity Company submitting quotation
of $515.58 on Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance for year
beginning December 19, 1932, was read and ordered filed.
°Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit, that quotation of Guy
and Guy be accdpted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
&Communication from John F. Covert regarding fees for proceedings
for a reduction in rates from the Sweetwater Water Corporation, was
read. Moved by Waddell, seconded by Pettit, that the communication
be filed. Carried.
°Communication from League of California Municipalities relative
to securing return of gasoline tax money for cities also resolution
regarding same was read. Mayor Requa appointed Councilman Pettit
to contact Senator Harper to see if the Resolution conflicts with
Resolution sponsored by County League of Municipalities.
°Communication from City Attorney regarding tide land lease to
S. F. Beers, was read and ordered filed.
"OMoved by Pettit, seconded by Thatcher, that the request be
denied on the grounds that the City has no title to the lands, and
that the City Clerk notify Mr. Beers of the action. Carried.
°Communication from the Pacific Coast Building Officials
Conference regarding membership fee of $50.00 was read and ordered
filed.
°Report of Building Inspector for month of November read and
ordered filed.
°Report of City Judge for month of November read and ordered filed.
'Report of Planning Commission including proposed zoning Ordinance
and Map presented and laid over till next meeting.
°Mayor Requa appointed Councilman Thatcher as member of Planning
Commission to take the place of Councilman Dawson, resigned.

Mayor Requa reported complaint had been received regarding
,/ condition of Rachael Avenue. Matter referred to Councilman Wade.
'Matter of re -naming Avenues West of National Avenue referred
back to Planning Commission.
°The City Attorney reported he would meet with Mr. Rogan,regarding
re -opening of 7th Avenue,at the first opportunity.
Moved by Thatcher, seconded by Wade, that the Council adjourn.
Carried.
