Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. •Petition of S. C. Finds to remove two trees at 417 West 14th Street, accompanied by a deposit of $10.00, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray that the petition be granted. Carried. ,Communication from Chas. F. Richardson, secretary of the San Diego County League of Municipalities stating that the next meeting would be held at La Mesa, Friday January 8, 1932 at 6:30 o'clock p. m. was read and ordered filed. .Report of the City Judge for the month of December 1931, was read and ordered filed. .ORDINANCE NO. , amending Ordinance No. 506 relating to and regulating plumbing was read. Moved by gird, seconded by Murray that it be introduced and laid over under the rules and according to law. Also property owners requested work be done on the North side of 18th Street. Moved by Murray, seconded by Cordingly that the matter be referred to the Superintendent of Streets. Carried. 'Moved by Bird, -seconded by Murray that the City Clerk be instructed to write the State Highway Commission stating that the City Council endorsed the proposed secondary State Highway commencing at a point in the intersection of Highland 'Avenue and 30th Street, National City, and extending by way of Bonita"_Bridge either to Sweetwater'Lake or lower Otay Lake. Carried. -Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Murray that the matter of plasterer's license be tabled. -Matter of Neon sign laid over. •Moved by Murray,seconded by Waddell that the City Engineer establish the grade of K Avenue from 18th Street to 24th Street as a sixty foot Street.
