Regular meeting of the City Council called to order
by the Mayor. Councilmen present- Bird, Murray, Waddell
and Requa. _Councilman Cordingly absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of March 1, 1932, read and
approved.

,Mr. L. A. Weisser was present asking for permission to cut
curb at llth Street and National Avenue. Referred to the
Superintendent of Streets regarding the moving of a pole and
also amount of space required.
,Harry Wade was present asking permission to use 7th Street
between National and A Avenues for a street carnival, May 27th
and 28th. Referred to the Street Department.
,Communication from the Paradise Valley Sanitarium requesting
the change in location of fire hydrant was read. Petition of
citizens living near the Paradise Valley Sanitarium requesting
installation of Fire Hydrant at 8th Street and Sanitarium Avenue,
also at the corner of 6th and Arcadia Streets was read and re-
ferred to the Fire Committee.
:Communication from the Pacific Coast Building Officials
Conference regarding Active Participating Membership in the
Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference was read. Moved
by Murray, seconded by Waddell, that the communication be filed.
.Communication from Edgar F. Hastings of the First District,
inclosing blue print containing data on the distribution of
highway moneys was read and ordered filed.
.Communication from Supervisor Hastings, District No. 1,
regarding the redistricting of the Supervisorial Boundaries was
read and ordered filed.
.City Engineer reported that he had interviewed property
owners between 20th and 24th Streets ondK_aAvenue and the majority
were against the proposed improvement at this time. The matter
of improving K Avenue was referred to the City Engineer.
.ORDINANCE NO. , an Ordinance amending subsection
4, of Section 1, of Ordinance No. 597 providing for Boulevard
Stops was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Waddell, that it be
introduced and laid over, under the rules, and according to law.
Carried.
:RESOLUlION NO. 1670, authorizing payment of bonded indebtedness
due March 15, 1932 amounting to $2,850.00 was read. Moved by
gray, seconded by Bird „that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Councilmen present voting aye.

,RESOLUTION NO. 1671, requiring the Planning Commission
to recommend the Boundaries of districts, etc., was read.
Loved by 'Waddell, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
Moved by Waddell, seconded by Murray, that the Council
adjourn. Carried.
