Moved by Pettit, seconded by Wade, that the bills be allowed and
Warrants ordered drawn for same. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
•Communication from the Santa Fe Land and Improvement Company
stating they would not be able to use the proposed tide land lease
was read and ordered filed.
Communication from L. E. Knapp recommending the appointment of
Louis R. Aldrich and Jesse M. Dearing as Special Police Officers was
read and ordered filed.

read and referred to the City Attorney.
' Report of City Clerk for quarter ending September 30, 1932 was
read and ordered filed.
. City Attorney reported on Communication from City of Monterey,
regarding and enclosing a Resolution on allocation of gasoline tax,
stating he would not recommend the passage of any such resolution.

Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade, that the communication be filed.

• Matter of State Highway Program taken up and communication
from !Automobile Clubcof Southern California regarding same ordered
,filed.
• ORDINANCE NO. 621, creating harbor Improvement Fund for the
City of National City, California, was placed on final passage
and on motion by Thatcher, seconded by Pettit, same adopted, all
Councilmen present voting aye.
• Bond of Irene Wissink, Deputy Tax Collector, presented.
Moved by Thatcher,�seooaded by Waddell, that the bond be approved
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
'City Attorney reported on hearing of Division of Water Resources,
also stated complaint and communication to Railroad Commission had
been drawn up but as yet no action had been taken by Water Committee
regarding same.
Moved by Waddell, seconded by Wade, that the Council adjourn.
Carried.
