National City, California, April 21, 1930.
The City Council met pursuant to law for the purpose
of canvassing the returns of the General Municipal Election
held April 14, 1930.
Councilmen present- Bird, Cordingly, Fritz, Murray, Addis.
Minutes of regular meeting of April 15, 1930, read and
approved.
The City Council thereupon opened the ballot boxes
and canvassed the returns.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1549, Declaring the result of the General
Municipal Election held April 14, 1930, was read. Moved by
Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye. Resolution as
follows:
The minutes were then approved. Moved by Murray, seconded
by Fritz, that the Council adjourn sine die. Carried.

'The newly elected City Council of the City of
National City, California, met immediately after the adjourn-
ment of the old Council at the City Hall.
Present- Council lard and Cordingly, members of the City
Council as formerly constituted whose terms had not expired;
present also, Councilmen Coburn, Requa and Waddell, elected
April 14, 1930, each of whom thereupon took the oath of office.
The Council was called to order by the City Clerk.
.Moved by Coburn, seconded by Waddell, that Councilman Harold P.

Requa be elected- ror the ensuing term. Carried unanimously.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Council
adjourn. Carried.
