Regular meeting of the City Council called to order by
the Mayor. Councilmen present_ Bird, Cordingly, Fritz, Murray,
Addis.
Minutes of regular meeting of February 4, 1930, read and
approved.

Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the bills be allowed
and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Carried, a 11 Councilmen
present voting aye.
,Applicationcof Wall and Chivington for permission to stencil
house numbers on curbing in National City, was read. Moved by
Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the application be denied.
Carried, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Cordingly, Fritz,
Addis; Nays, Councilmen Bird and Murray.

,Communication from Wm. J. Locke, addressed to City Attorney
Harris, regarding ownership of vehicles used by traffic officers,
was read and ordered filed.
,Communication from Board of Public Health, Sacramento,
stating that permission had been granted Feb. 8, 1930, to the
City of National City, to construct an additional sewerage system,
was read and ordered filed.
.Communication from L. A. Weisser preferring charges against
Judge M. S. Edgerton, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz,
that it be laid over until the first meeting of the new Council.
Carried.
,Petition of citizens requesting that a patrolman be given
a regular beat in old town, was read and referred to the Police
Department.
.Petition of property owners requesting the strict enforce-
ment of the ordinance regarding peddlers and solicitors, was.read
and laid over.
.Bond of Frank M. Tattersall, Master Plumber, presented.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the Bond be approved,
accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
'{RESOLUTION NO. 1529, Authorizing cancellation of Bond No.
18, Series F, was read. Moved by Murray, seconded by Cordingly,
that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present
voting aye.
'RESOLUTION NO. 1530, Ordering the payment of bonded indebted-
ness due February 15, 1930, amounting to i•.:,500.00, was read.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be
adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present voting aye.
'RESOLUTION NO. 1531, Ordering the closing of port ions of
L Avenue between the Southerly line of 24th Street and the Northerly
line of 26th Street, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray,
that the Reso&ution be adopted. Carried, all Councilmen present _
voting aye.
,RESOLUTION NO. 1532, OF INTENTION to close portions of E
60.
Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets, was read. Moved by Murray,
seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all
Councilmen present voting aye.
Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Fritz, that the bouniil
adjourn. Carried.
