Trustees present- Bird, Cordingly, Fritz, Murray and Addis. Minutes of regular meeting of January 7, 1930, read and approved. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .Communication from Geo. R. Palmer requesting a refund of $5.07, tax on automobile for 1929, was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the proper officers draw a warrant in favot of Geo. R. Palmer for $5.07. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. oPetit&on of property owners to eliminate the boulevard stops at 1st Avenue and 13th Street, was read and referred to the Police Department. 'Communication from the San Diego & Arizona Railway Company regarding removal of certain tracks in the City, was read. ,Report of the Fire Department for year of 1929 was read and ordered filed. ,Reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for quarter ending December 31, 1929, presented and ordered filed. 49. .The Finance Committee, to whom the petition for a street light at 28th Street and Highland Avenue was referred, reported that they did not see the necessity of a light at that point. Moved by Murray, seconded by Cordingly, that the petition for a street light at 28th Street and Highland Avenue be denied. Carried. Bond of Curtis L. Crain, Master Plumber, accompanied by $5.00, was presented. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly, that the Bond be approved, accepted and ordered filed. Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. ;RESOLUTION NO. 1519, Forfeiting, cancelling and annulling lease of Potter Radiator Corporation dated October 3, 1924, was read. Moved by Cordingly, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. •Report of the City Engineer on bids for the grading and other improvement of portions of 17th Street and B Avenue, recommending acceptance of the bid of Nelson & Sloan, was read and ordered filed. J.RESOLUTION OF AWARD NO. 1520, awarding the contract to Nelson & Sloan for the grading and other improvement of portions of 17th Street and B Avenue, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye. .The Police Department, to whom the petition for the removal of boulevard stops at 13th Street and 1st Avenue was referred, re- 51. ported that they considered the present stops satisfactory. RESOLUTION NO. 1521, Approving Map of Roselawn Addition was read. Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
