Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees called
to order by the City Clerk. Trustees present- Bird, Cordingly,
Fritz and Murray. Trustee Addis late.
Moved by Bird, seconded by Fritz, that Trustee Murray
act as President pro tem. Carried.
Minutes of regular meeting of December 18, 1928, read,
corrected and approved.

present voting aye.
/Communication from Mrs. Nellie Holderman requesting refund
of $25.00 for laundry license in the name of Sunkist Hand Laundry
issued July 28, 1928, was read. Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird,

that the proper officers draw a warrant upon the General Fund
in favor of Mrs. Nellie Holderman for $25.00 being refund of
laundry license issued July 28, 1928 in the name of Sunkist
Hand Laundry. Carried,all Trustees present voting aye.
,Communication from the Automobile Club of Southern
California regarding the erection of Federal Aid Markers was -
read and referred to the Street Superintendent.
.Report of the City Marshal for month of December, 1928,
read and ordered filed.
,Report of the Recorder for month of December, 1928, read
and ordered filed.
.Bonds of L. G. Atherton and Daniel A. Deacon, Master
Plumbers, presented. Moved by Bird, seconded by Cordingly,
that the Bonds be approved, accepted and ordered filed. Carried.
;RESOLUTION NO. 1373, Ordering the City Engineer to prepare
plans and specifications for improvement of llth and 12th Streets,
A, B and C Avenues and Alleys, was read. Moved by Cordingly,
seconded by Fritz, that the Resolution be adopted. Carried,
all Trustees present voting aye.
RESOLUTION NO. 1374, Approving and adopting p&ans and
spectfications and approving plat of district for the improvement
of llth and 12th Streets, A, B and C Avenues and Alleys, was read.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Bird, that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
.Trustee Addis arrived and took the chair.
.Estimate of City Engineer of quantities -for the improvement
of llth and 12th Streets, A, B and C Avenues and Alleys, was read
and ordered filed.
_RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1375, for the improvement of
llth and 12th Streets, A, B and C Avenues and Alleys, was read.
Moved by Fritz, seconded by Murray, that the Resolution be adopted.
Carried, all Trustees present voting aye.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the Board of
Trustees of the City of National City sign Escrow instructions
250.
Order No. 85408 for the purchase by the City of National City,
California, of the Easterly Half of 10 Acre Lot 6, a Section 154,
Rancho de la Nacion, for the total sum of $4,645.60, said sum
is indicated as follows: cash $2150.00; mortgage of $1600.00
and interest at 7% from Jan. 1, 1929; and balance of unpaid
street assessment bond No. 93 of $895.50. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
.Moved by Bird, seconded by Murray, that the City Attorney
and City Engineer be instructed to secure a search of record
title of land on L Avenue between 16th and 30th Streets and on
16th Street from Highland to L Avenues. Carried, all Trustees
present voting aye.
Moved by Murray, seconded by Fritz, that the Board
adjourn. Carried.
